The Look
Three monuments from Italy and Portugal, spring 2026 -- the Arch of Constantine in Rome, Belém Tower on the Tagus, and the Monument to the Discoveries in Lisbon. Beacon is a Velvia-based recipe built around one idea: pull the sky's highlights back hard while crushing the architecture underneath toward a graphic, near-black silhouette. Where most of this archive's recipes lift shadow detail for a softer, more forgiving look, Beacon does the opposite -- it deepens and crushes the shadow side of the frame on purpose, trading recovered detail for a bolder, more monumental silhouette.
