Retro Film Photgraphy & Rangefinders

This project came to being partly because I got my hands on an old Yashica Electron 35 Rangefinder Camera which belonged to my father-in-law, who has since passed, and I have taken it upon myself to keep this memory alive by putting it to use once again. To my detriment, this retro bug, partly influenced by my teenage daughter have now made me to seek out other retro film cameras to buy. Hence this page will journal that journey.

The Yashica Electro 35 GSN

A collection of film photographs with this "poor man's Leica" rangefinder and my humble comments on it's use. Please forgive me as its still a work in progress.

A recently acquired rangefinder, May 2023, from eBay Japan. IMHO Japan has a consistently good quality of used retro cameras

What I think about these Retro Film Cameras

At first I thought it would be about 1 rangefinder, the Yashica Electron 35, but I was wrong. Am in the market to collect a few more hence I would be posting some other reviews soon. Even old point and shoot old film cameras..
